As a local living in the West Hollywood area Catherine was constantly surrounded by the glitz and glamour of beauty that is a prevalent notion in Hollywood. As a journalist she spent a lot of time indoors behind a desk and in front of a computer completely immersed in her writing. Inevitably it became second nature to develop a relatively deskbound type of lifestyle. Troubled by high blood pressure and high cholesterol she began to desperately search for an alternative to what had become a sedentary lifestyle, thus she turned to LIFE for help. Being naturally strong, and stronger than most of the women that were participating in the same program as her, would prove to be an advantage that the trainers at LIFE saw and helped harness. Immediately, Catherine began to capitalize on her strength as the trainers mentored her every step of the way she rapidly began to see drastic results. She began participating in sports and athletic activities that until that point were essentially foreign to her. Amazingly enough, Catherine managed to loose more than 100 pounds. However, Catherine acknowledges that the greatest accomplishment was her being able to transition from live in to live out, meaning that that changes were not just temporarily they became part of her lifestyle forever!

Divya came to LIFE as a Southern California local with a goal in mine: to change her lifestyle and fitness level for the rest of her life. Divya didn’t want to try the diet gimmicks, nor the unmotivational gym memberships, she wanted something that would work and give her the results that she wanted. Initially upon her commencement at LIFE Divya had little to no knowledge on her fitness level and had a very minute understanding of her body and how it worked. This proved to be a challenge when pushing forward in her workouts. She wasn’t aware of what it would take to drop a significant among of weight and gain her health again. As a former USC student and a practicing accountant she was surrounded by an environment that lacked motivation for physical activity and catered to inactivity while being strapped behind the workings of a chaotic cubicle. Often inundated with work and high stress levels Divya knew that it would take more than just the gym and a trainer to change her way of living and habits. After reading about LIFE she was convinced that this could be the answer to her prayers. Certainly, LIFE would not disappoint and Divya lost an incredible amount of weight. More importantly, she learned what it takes to keep her in good health not just temporarily but for the rest of her life!

Every year his vacation destinations included plenty of relaxation and eating as all vacations should but never had he been truly satisfied once they had to pack their bags and head back home. This time Fred wanted something more memorable and invigorating for him and his wife to participate in, something that would leave them glowing by the end of their vacation and not sad because they had to return to work. Already in excellent shape Fred was not one to shy away from fitness and health. Although his lifestyle already involved regular exercise there was one goal that he could never seem to attain; the infamous six pack. Fred had gone years living an active lifestyle but had never achieved the abdominal pack that he had aspired to obtain. The trainers and cooks alike focused on a tailored regime and dietary supplement that would allow him and his wife to achieve their goals. After just a few weeks Fred, began to see drastic results in his muscle ratio throughout his body. Needless to say Fred left that summer with a chiseled six pack and his wife left in great shape feeling better than they’ve ever felt, they knew that LIFE turned out to be a vacation they would never forget!

Coming from parents that were physically fit, and that had very much incorporated health and fitness into their regular lifestyles, Michael found himself at odds with his family. He had been unable to control his weight throughout most of his life repeatedly turning to food for comfort. The deep contrast between his size and weight in comparison to his parents strained their relationship and formed a rift that posed Michael to further indulge in food. The guilt that riddled his parents, would serve to only exacerbate the notion of him feeling like an outcast and being out of place. Thus, it wasn’t long before Michael found himself in a never-ending cycle of replacing his emotions with food, which quickly evolved into an emotional eating disorder. LIFE seemed to be the only weight loss program that offered a measurable treatment for his psychological attachment to food. So Michael packed his bags and made his way to California from Florida in hopes of rehabilitating his self-destructive behavior, he would no longer let his weight control him. Once at LIFE, the psychologists made it a priority to work with him and help him overcome his emotional food replacement behavior. Soon enough Eric took a personal interest in Michael’s progress and therein grew a team that was truly unstoppable. Eric was invested in Michael’s personal growth and development and made sure that his psychological transformation was one that would place Michael in the best mental state he had ever been. Michael became a LIFE weight loss success story and has never looked back since!

After taking a wrong turn in his life Patrick found himself going down a dangerous path of self-destruction. Surrounded by a myriad of bad influences let him with not many other options for another path. He sought to turnaround his life for the better before it was too late. After hearing about LIFE and the type of program it had to offer, as well as the elite training techniques Patrick decided that a fitness retreat might offer him some lucidity and steer him towards another direction. Being naturally strong and not necessarily in bad shape meant that he needed a different type of exercise schedule than most other participants. The trainers spent a lot of time customizing and tailoring a workout routine that would not only work for Patrick, but would leave him feeling revitalized at it seemed that he had lost all appetite for life. Patrick’s training involved two intense and rigorous exercises during the day. He expressed his interest in wanting to built muscle size and tone and so the trainers focused on routines that would maximize this desire to encourage him and keep him focused. After, but four weeks Patrick had produced amazing results. His muscle ratio was greatly increased due to the superb customization of the trainers. Most importantly under the mentoring of the trainers and psychologists alike, Patrick made a commitment to commence a new path to a better healthier life.

Interestingly enough EricViskovicz(President/Owner) and Nicola lived at the time in the same complex and shared a local diner. Eric continually watched her weight grow until one day he literary had an intervention over breakfast at the diner. The following week she was in boot camp at 5:30am. Over the course of the year she went from a size 16to a size 6 with healthy eating habits and a healthy workout routine. Shere-discovered her passion for fitness and in turn has helped other to this day by joining the team back in 2000.
