  • CLINICAL THERAPIST
    Clinical therapist
Weekly sessions with Claire Dorotik, a licensed marriage and family therapist, will help you identify the underlying psychological etiology of your eating patterns. As you learn what different emotions, thoughts, and behaviors contribute to your eating behavior, you will be able to understand the reasons behind your eating patterns. As you work on a weekly basis with Claire, you will develop the insight, awareness, and strength to change the underlying psychological components of your eating behavior.
  • GROUP MOTIVATIONAL TALKS
    Group motivational talks
A key component of having success in any area of life is taking charge of your mind. From his own experience, L.I.F.E. president Eric Viskovicz knows this is especially true with weight loss and fitness. Visualization, internal dialogue, and motivation are all topics that he covers in his weekly talks in a group setting. You'll not only learn form his wisdom, but from each other.
  • CHEF'S COOKING CLASSES
    Chef's cooking classes
Learn how to cook the meals that you enjoy at L.I.F.E. from Chef Robert Gomez. In his weekly cooking classes, you'll get hands-on experience making healthy, gourmet meals. You also get the opportunity to ask a master chef any questions that you have about food preparation or food in general. Robert has a wealth of knowledge about food and is happy to share it with you.
  • MEAL PLANNING
    Meal planning
Here at L.I.F.E., there is not one perfect meal plan for everyone. We take into account several factors when designing a plan for each client, such as weight, gender, activity level, likes and dislikes, and overall lifestyle. We'll then design a meal plan for you based on our philosophy of eating five small meals a day, with each meal having a balance of all three macronutrients – carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats.
  • GROCERY STORE TRIPS / NUTRITION SESSIONS
    Grocery store trips
An essential piece of our lifestyle change program is taking an in-depth look at your diet and nutrition. Our staff nutritionist, Karen, meets with you each week to review your health status and change your dietary plan accordingly. You'll also go with her to the grocery store to learn how to shop for health and weight loss. You'll spend a lot of time in the produce section as well as discussing packaged products and how to read labels.
  • ONE-ON-ONE NUTRITION
    One-on-one nutrition
Through our one-on-one nutrition sessions, we'll get to know you and learn about both your goals and frustrations, while we create a realistic meal plan to help you lose the weight as well as set you up for success once you leave camp. Our nutritionist will talk to you about specific foods and how to incorporate them into your newly found lifestyle. You are no longer on a diet – you are changing your whole life!
