High-protein foods are more filling and can reduce hunger more quickly than foods based on carbs.

Choose high fiber foods: Foods like whole wheat or whole grain breads increases satiety by slowing the rate that food passes though the digestive system, eventually lessening one’s caloric intake.

Put the flavor in low-fat foods: Cook your low-fat meals in chicken stock or bouillons, and use healthy spreads.
