Dealing With Exercise Induced Asthma at Fitness Retreats
There are many issues that can stop people from getting the most out of exercises programs such as fitness retreats. But perhaps no issue is more daunting and challenging than exercise induced asthma. People who suffer from this condition can be struck with serious asthma attacks when attempting to do even moderate activity at some place like weight loss camps for women. Fortunately, there are things that people with exercise induced asthma can do to minimize the risk of a flare up.
For example, cold weather can be a trigger for an asthma attack. Therefore, it can make sense for someone suffering from exercise induced asthmas to consider something like a summer boot camp as a way to avoid this issue. Attacks are also more likely to be triggered by sports and activities that require continuous, strenuous activity. Exercises such as walking, sprinting or sports such as swimming or softball that have shorter bursts of energy are better for people suffering from asthma.
If you have asthma, that isn’t a reason to cross weight loss resorts off of your list of ways to get in shape. It’s important to discuss your situation with your instructor ahead of time; this will give them the ability to design an exercise routine that’s right for you along with taking extra precautions to ensure your physical fitness and safety.
